The "news" of the day appears with Nancy Pelosi saying "no more blank checks" to the Bush administration.  Well I again point out that three days after the election Nancy sent me a thank you for your support letter along with an "agenda" which totally turned me off.  In the letter she advocated the "recommendations of the 911 commission".  Harpers magazine did an article on this commission, the cover was a gallon of white paint.
That plus the fact that the mere mention of the topic of 911 on political and even now generic social networking boards gets most people "banned".  What I find most disturbing is that the nature of these bans from "progressive" leaning political sites is the equivalent of the black bag job done to the "dissidents" in the movie V for Vendetta.

I did.  I was patient.  I sat there and watched a segment on C-span about soldiers having to sign for a towel at a Halliburton run "recreation center" for the troops in Iraq.  About how the government was billed based upon these multiple "sign ins" for "services rendered" and how it became a bill for 100 "services rendered" when it was only seven soldiers in the "recreation center".  This was testimony before a Congressional inquest.  Why have these people have not been Gitmo-ized is beyond belief.

I have also stayed away from MSM and prefer to get my news from the net and international sources.

At 8:35 AM on NBC with Matt Lauer I heard the term MILF used in it's proper context.  Matt was not the one who said it, one of the panel members said it, some black guy.  Sorry I can't be more specific but over the years I have developed my own personal firewall against American MSM media an it's Satanic memes.  I'm glad I don't have little kids anymore asking "Hey Daddy, what's a MILF".

Seems a tad ironic though when we passed animal terrorist legislation and we want to up the prison sentences for people convicted of "hate" crimes.  What we do have though is a merger of governement and corporate.  Yes, you are free to buy stuff, consume but otherwise shut up.

All I have to do is look at the picture.  I see young faces of real Patriots who care enough to stand up and say something.  The most heart warming thing about it is they are young.

I just completed a Harris Poll survey on internet usage.  It is the last survey I will ever complete.

Having recently completed a BS in business administration the courses in marketing,media advertizing and statistical analysis gave me the skills to read behind the lines of this particular survey.  The type of questions, the wording of them afforded me a glimpse of what is to become of the internet, and indeed life in the future in general.  God, am I glad I'm older and actually I think I would be better off if I was older still.

Employers are catching up fast.  In the wake of Sourpuss-Oxley and the continuing din of terra,terra,terra the Stasi-like erosion of civility continues daily.  

Work has something called Surf Control.  This programs limits what an employee can and can not access at work.  While I completely understand it is the company's computer and network and there are bonafide reasons to control non-work related computer activities.  A small percentage of people will abuse it.  Just because I don't does not mean I too get to be treated like a child.  We have come to view the IT department though as the Gestapo and Surf Control has become known as Smurf Patrol.
The time it takes to get non-standard software installed has gone from days to weeks.  Now that's productive.
With the latest "update" though my access to any and all political boards has been shut off completely even during lunch.
